Refund & Cancellation Policy – Devzuno Technologies

Last Updated: June 18, 2026

At Devzuno Technologies (registered and operating from Sonbhadra, Uttar Pradesh, India; website: devzuno.com), we provide customized IT solutions, web development, mobile applications, custom AI workflows, and digital marketing services.

Because our services are customized, resource-intensive, and involve manual labor, planning, and design hours from day one, we enforce a strict Refund and Cancellation Policy to protect our business operations. By initiating a project or purchasing a service package from us, you agree to these terms.

1. Project Deposits & Setup Fees

  • Non-Refundable Advance: All initial deposits, advance payments, and setup fees paid to kick off a project are 100% non-refundable.
  • Reasoning: Once a deposit is received, we immediately allocate engineering resources, assign designers, purchase development environments, and begin strategy/wireframing work.

2. Milestone Payments

  • No Retroactive Refunds: Custom software development is billed in milestone phases. Once a milestone is completed, reviewed, and paid for by the client, that payment is final and non-refundable.
  • Mid-Project Cancellation: If you decide to cancel a project while it is in progress, you cannot claim refunds for milestones that have already been delivered. You are also liable to pay for all work completed up to the date of the cancellation request.

3. Third-Party Expenses & Assets

  • External Costs: We often purchase third-party resources on your behalf to run your project. This includes web hosting plans, domain registrations, premium templates, font licenses, SSL certificates, and API credits (such as OpenAI, Firebase, or SMS gateways).
  • Zero Refunds: All third-party purchases are strictly non-refundable under any circumstances, as we do not control the refund policies of these external vendors.

4. Digital Marketing & SEO Services

  • Service Work: Search Engine Optimization (SEO), digital growth, and social media campaigns require recurring strategy, copywriting, and link-building hours.
  • Monthly Cycles: Payments for monthly marketing packages are billed in advance and are non-refundable.
  • Cancellation Notice: You can cancel your monthly recurring marketing subscription by giving us a 15-day written notice before the next billing cycle. If you cancel mid-month, you will not receive a pro-rata refund for the remaining days of that billing month.

5. Client Inactivity & Abandonment (Ghosting Policy)

  • Active Collaboration: We need your feedback and assets to complete your project.
  • Suspension After 15 Days: If we request feedback, copy, or logins and you remain completely unresponsive for more than 15 consecutive business days, your project will be marked as “Suspended.”
  • Forfeiture After 30 Days: If you remain unresponsive for more than 30 consecutive calendar days, the project will be marked as “Abandoned.” In this case, the contract is terminated, all paid deposits and milestone fees are permanently forfeited, and Devzuno is released from any obligation to deliver the project files.
  • Reactivation Fee: To resume an abandoned project, you must sign a new agreement and pay a reactivation fee of 15% of the total project value to cover resource re-allocation.

6. Delivered Projects & Source Codes

  • Post-Handoff Policy: Once a website, app, or automation system is deployed to your live server and final access details are handed over, no refund requests will be entertained under any circumstances.
  • Delivery Confirmation: Accepting final deployment bypasses any right to dispute payments.

7. Cancellation Procedure

  • Written Request: To cancel a project, you must submit a formal written request via email to support@devzuno.com. Phone calls, WhatsApp messages, or verbal statements will not be considered valid cancellation requests.
  • Date of Termination: The cancellation will be deemed effective only after our billing team confirms receipt and calculates any outstanding dues for work completed up to that day.

8. Exceptional Refunds and Processing Timeline

  • Management Discretion: While we enforce a strict no-refund policy, if the management of Devzuno Technologies, in its sole discretion, decides to approve a full or partial refund under exceptional circumstances, the approval must be in writing.
  • Refund Timeline: Approved refunds will be processed and credited back to your original payment source (credit card, bank account, or wallet) within 7 to 10 business days of written approval.

9. Chargeback and Payment Disputes

  • No Direct Chargebacks: You agree not to file a chargeback dispute or payment claim with your bank, credit card network, or payment gateway (like Stripe, Razorpay, or PayPal) without contacting us first.
  • Resolution First: You agree to submit any billing discrepancy or dispute to support@devzuno.com in writing. If you file a chargeback or bank dispute prior to engaging in our dispute resolution process, you agree to pay for all administrative fees, chargeback fines, and legal costs incurred by Devzuno to defend the claim.

10. Severability

If any provision of this Refund & Cancellation Policy is found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, such provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions of this Policy shall remain in full force and effect.

11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

This Refund & Cancellation Policy is governed by the laws of India. Any billing disputes or legal claims that cannot be resolved amicably shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Sonbhadra, Uttar Pradesh, India.
